Join Minnesota Stars FC as a 2013 Season Ticket Holder.
The Stars will take to the field at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome to open the season and play the first five games of the season under the roof before returning to Blaine's NSC Stadium on July 4 for the Spring Season finale and fireworks. The team will play the entirety of the Fall Season at NSC Stadium. Each season ticket package includes 14 tickets good for admission to any regular season home matches. With the exception of Pitch Side seats, which are limited and assigned on a per-game basis, all Stars FC season ticket packages include FLEX tickets, which can be used in any combination throughout the seasons, allowing fans to skip a game and use the ticket later to bring a friend or to easily split a ticket package among two or more people who can’t make it to every game together.
In addition to being the best way to show your extended support of professional soccer in Minnesota, season tickets come with some extra perks:
- Add a 2013 team scarf for just $15
- Soccer Bowl priority and discount (should the Stars host the match). You pay the per-game price from your season ticket package
- Discounted single game tickets. Save $1 on already discounted advance ticket prices. (Must purchase in advance. No gameday sales.)
- Flexible monthly payment plans
In 2013, the North American Soccer League will play a new split-season format. The Spring Championship will consist of 12 games, beginning April 6 and ending on July 4. Each team will play every other team home and away, and the team with the most points will claim the Spring Championship and a berth and hosting rights to the Soccer Bowl Championship Game. The Fall Season will follow the same round robin, home-and-away approach, but it will last 16 games with the return of the Puerto Rico Islanders and the addition of the New York Cosmos as the league’s ninth team. The Fall Championship will kick off in late July or early August and last until late October or early November. Again, the first-place team will claim that mini-season’s title and will be the away team in the Soccer Bowl. If the same team wins both the Spring and Fall seasons, the second berth in the Soccer Bowl game will go to the team with the second-best overall record over the course of both seasons.
